Inspired by J. Cole’s 2014 Forest Hills Drive and his song “Love Yourz,” this painting reimagines the iconic album cover through Khyah.

Sitting high on a rooftop with her flower crown and stars still in her eyes, Khyah looks outward while carrying a simple reminder: there will always be something—or someone—that appears to have more. More success. More money. More opportunity. A different life.

But there is beauty in your own.

Love Yourz is about appreciating where you are, what you have, and who you are becoming without measuring your life against somebody else’s.
